We’re biting our nails around here as we watch the preliminary election results to come in. Chris is all about watching MSNBC 24-7, but I am a fan of watching something else, and checking results at the commercial. I just can’t stand the tension from talking over and over again about combinations of states and electoral votes. And why is this election so damned important?

Because this time things might actually be different. Because this time we could change history and rewrite the story of who is in charge and why. Because this time it seems like what the people think really matters. But we don’t know yet — we don’t know until the numbers start coming in and I might just explode before that happens.
