South Harmon Institute of Technology
If the title sounds familiar, then you know the joke. If not, check out the movie Accepted — which is probably not on the list of approved films for educational purposes, but has an interesting point nonetheless. College has become a prerequisite for almost anything you could want to do, but that doesn’t make it the best fit. Some colleges are better than others, and almost are all unique in their own way. Yet that doesn’t mean everyone should go to college (and since I am saying that as a college teacher, that makes it even more interesting). I never honestly considered not going and, as a result, I was two years in before I really started thinking about what I was doing there and why. College is too important not to think about, and much much too expensive. Trust me — from the girl whose doctorate cost at least $200,000 in dollars alone.

well i like the movie alot its like my 10th time seeing it.. wel i agree 110 percent college isnt for everyone. my brother never went to college and he makes lots of money as a geek squad secret agent at best buy, my other brother in law is an adt alarm instaler at his job they call him noel wired hands because hes the fastest man on the job. he also makes lots of money to support his 2 kids and his wife who is my sister. I was raised as in college is the way to go by my sister who is now asuccesful lawer. shes a big inspiration 2 me and that is why im in college i hope that i make something out of my life. my teacher Mr. Henery Sanchez told me ,” Theres always 1 thing in life that you do and that is make a choice of taking the easy way or the right way even though the easy way is right around the corner but now look at the right its a long path withmany obstacels but you seem to always be able to see the right path.” its betterwhen you see how he drew it for me.
