update
Spense is doing better & reacting well to the penicillin, thank God. First class was yesterday, and already I can tell they’re going to be a good group — active, talking, interested in the topic. I have a new GA who seems really on top of things and is also an animal person — he and his girlfriend have two dogs, so we had something to talk about right there. Plus he seemed to know exactly what I was talking about, which was pretty good, especially for the first week when I’m not sure I even know what I am talking about.
And there’s that tinge of fall coolness in the air. Bright days and brighter leaves coming. Tomorrow: happy hour. It’s time.
Hello Dr. C
Saying hello…I have to confess I have been over the last year or so a closet flaneuse reader. I felt compelled to out myself. Not that anything is wrong with reading your stuff…it is just that I didn’t want you to think that i was a student stalker or something. So you are still brilliant and funny. I will stop in again to say hello.
Hi Dr. Dana -
I was fortunate to attend a workshop you gave in late June at the Montclair Summer Institute. I was a member of a Dodge grant team from Livingston. I would love to review some of the pearls of wisdom your presentation provided. Any chance you could e-mail that presentation? I never received it. Now that school is in full swing, I could really use some of the info. Many thanks!
Best of luck for a great semester!
