I have been so impressed with the writing my students in the adolescent literature class have been doing on their blogs that I wanted to link to the page where you can find links to all of them — read if you have time. They’re thoughtful and irreverent, well written and well worth your time.
I make a real point of trying not to read anyone’s postings until I have posted my own so as not to be influenced. It is amazing to me how differently we respond to the same piece or how differently we view the “assigment” — this supports, I believe, the gist of what we are all coming to understand — our students, clients patrons all bring something different to us and we need to hear/honor/incorporate their thoughts into our teaching (and our stories).
